Isaac Anderson is a singer, guitarist and songwriter from Nottingham, UK. Only in his mid-twenties, Isaac has experienced a music career of someone far beyond his years. He was straight out of school at 18 and on the road with his very first band for two years straight, and by the time Isaac was 20 he was working every weekend as a wedding singer, racking up thousands of performance hours all over the UK and beyond. At 24 he joined the session band of One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson as a guitarist and backing singer - appearing on national TV and playing in stadiums around the world.
After years of experimenting in bands, Isaac’s solo
career truly began in 2020, armed with a collection
of songs written at the height of the first lockdown.
A tentative few months of teasing these songs via
YouTube performances and Instagram sparked
excitement online, and things started to move
quickly. By May 2021, Isaac had astoundingly amassed a combined 140,000 streams across YouTube and Spotify without releasing any officially finished music.
His debut release Love In Conversation soon followed – a four-track acoustic EP which served as a natural continuation of these singer-songwriter beginnings. 2022 saw Isaac branch into the alt-pop world on singles Mess Me Up and This Could Be Paradise – the latter growing Isaac’s Spotify monthly listeners from 10,000 to 30,000 in a week while gaining 100,000 streams in less than a month. To date, Isaac has produced all of his own tracks and released everything independently, with no label or playlisting support.
Drawing influence from a mix of pop, rock, and singer-songwriter, Isaac’s penchant for storytelling and emotive vocals has awarded him an incredibly dedicated group of fans that span the breadth of the globe – as of June 2022, his social media following stands at a combined 300,000 fans across the major platforms. In August 2022 he hopes to grow this fanbase on tour with Only the Poets.
Alongside his work as a solo artist, Isaac is currently one of Louis Tomlinson’s touring guitarists – a job which has seen him perform across UK national television (The X Factor, The One Show, Children in Need) as well as on Louis’ 2022 world tour, playing arenas across the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, Latin America and more.
